Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using the service, a customer agrees to the production terms presented at signup. The final terms should identify the contracting entity, minimum age or authority requirements, effective date, and any plan-specific order form or incorporated policy.
Accounts and credentials
Customers are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding credentials, controlling connected clients, and promptly revoking tokens that may be exposed. Each token and project request remains subject to account and workspace authorization.
Permitted use
The service may be used to analyze websites and search opportunities the customer is authorized to evaluate, retrieve project data through supported clients, create briefs and plans, and operate within documented limits. Customers remain responsible for reviewing recommendations and changes before production use.
Prohibited use
Do not bypass authentication or limits; probe or disrupt the service; misuse third-party data; submit malware; access projects without authorization; expose credentials; resell access outside an approved arrangement; or use the service in a way that violates law, intellectual-property rights, privacy obligations, or connected-platform terms.
AI-generated and analytical output
SEO metrics, scores, forecasts, summaries, recommendations, and AI-assisted output may contain estimates, delays, omissions, or errors. They do not guarantee rankings, traffic, revenue, indexing, or business outcomes. Customers must apply independent judgment and testing.
Plans, limits, and billing
The published plan, price, included data, crawl limits, usage allowances, and billing interval should control at purchase. Explain renewals, taxes, cancellations, refunds, failed payments, and changes to plan features in the production terms and checkout flow.
Third-party services and data
SearchSignal may depend on search engines, data licensors, hosting providers, AI platforms, developer clients, and other third parties. Availability and output may change when those services change. Customers must comply with third-party terms applicable to their connections and data.
Availability and changes
The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued to improve security, reliability, legal compliance, or product direction. Provide reasonable notice for material changes when practical, but reserve the ability to respond immediately to abuse, security events, or provider failures.
Ownership and feedback
Customers retain rights in content and project data they lawfully submit. SearchSignal retains rights in its software, brand, documentation, interfaces, derived product logic, and service improvements. The final terms should define any license needed to process customer data and how voluntary feedback may be used.
Disclaimers and liability
The final terms should contain counsel-approved warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity provisions, governing law, dispute process, export and sanctions terms, and termination effects appropriate to the contracting entity and target markets.
