What we collect
When you create an account we store your name, email address, and a hashed password. When you use the product we store saved keywords and search event metadata (tool used, query text, and a hashed IP) for product history and abuse prevention.
How we use data
We use account and usage data to provide SearchSignal, enforce fair-use and rate limits, prevent disposable-email abuse, improve reliability, and communicate about the service when needed. We do not sell personal data.
Retention & security
Passwords are stored hashed. We retain account and usage records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for security or legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
Cookies & session
We use a session cookie (or equivalent) to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers as part of the core product experience.
