# SearchSignal Paid Search Starter

## Read before launch

Paid traffic should begin only after the product can measure the full path from ad click to first successful MCP/API call. Do not optimize to account creation alone.

## Negative keyword starting list

Review actual search terms; do not apply blindly.

- jobs, salary, course, certification, definition only
- cracked, nulled, torrent, keygen
- agency near me, consultant near me, freelancer
- social media SEO unrelated variants
- medical, legal, or unrelated “MCP” meanings
- Minecraft MCP when irrelevant
- server hardware and hosting when no SEO intent
- free download software when seeking a desktop installer

## Ad-policy and credibility rules

- No guaranteed ranking or traffic language.
- No “official” claims about AI clients unless authorized.
- No customer counts, ratings, or performance claims without evidence.
- Keep price and limit copy synchronized with production.
- Do not imply that SearchSignal controls Google indexing or ranking.
- Do not place a real token or private workspace screenshot in ad creative.

## Budget allocation for first validation month

Use percentages so the plan scales:

- 35% SEO MCP category
- 25% SEO API and developer intent
- 25% free keyword research
- 15% technical audit

Hold back expansion until each campaign has enough activated-user data to distinguish poor traffic from poor onboarding.

## Bidding and measurement

Start with tight match types and conservative budgets. Import downstream events only after they are stable:

- qualified signup;
- token created;
- first successful client call;
- first workspace pack or audit retrieved;
- activated returning user;
- Pro upgrade.

Do not train bidding on shallow CTA clicks.
